Hold that tiger! All hail the triumphant arrival of King Ezekiel. Episode 2 of season 7 of The Walking Dead — an AMC show that might go on forever — was a much more lighthearted story this week. The only thing missing was Carol’s cookies — though we did get a nice blast of Carol, Morgan and we met other members of the Kingdom of Ezekiel. So far, pomegranates and daily cobbler with every meal sounds like a good deal to us. Please subscribe, rate and review us on #iTunes, #Soundcloud, #Stitcher and more. #thewalkingdead
No time for the wicked — just the undead. Are you ready for our recap of episode 12 of season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead (“Pillar of Salt”)? Like a 5-star hotel, we serve up this podcast with a smile — and our acerbic wit. Listen here. Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd
Faster than you can say “condensed milk” — it’s time for our recap of episode 11 of season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead (“Pablo and Jessica”). Maybe we need to rethink this hotel after this episode — why is their gift shop perpetually closed? Nick proved he is the ultimate survivor, here’s hoping Luciana doesn’t get duped by his wily narcissistic ways. Like last week, we were also introduced to some new — and living (for now) — characters. Better than a noisy soccer game in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, at least this podcast doesn’t bit. Just like bubble-headed Brandon and Baby James, your fearless hosts of this podcast “always come back.” This time around, we’re here to talk about episode 10 of season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead (“Do Not Disturb”). From catastrophic wedding to psychopathic teens, we covered much ground. Like last week, we were also introduced to some new — and living (for now) — characters. Ready for a fun ride of a discussion? Listen here. Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd
Welcome to the hotel from….rhymes with “bell”! Between Madison and Strand getting their groove on to Nick discovering the Colonia town of death — episode 9 of season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead (“Lost Muertos”) made for some tenuous and exciting contrasts. At least we got plenty of Strand, that “seducer of people.” Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd
Urine luck! The mid-season premiere of Fear the Walking Dead — Grotesque — gave us a splash of what’s to come for the rest of the season. Nick’s survival skills were anything but savvy but he made it for at least another episode. There is some good news in terms of Nick’s unfortunate “choice” of beverage: at least he didn’t have asparagus for lunch. Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd
You can run but can you hide from Celia’s dangerous cooking? Fear the Walking Dead was really incredible this week. “Sicut Cervus” (S2 E6) was dramatic, lush and entrenched in some bizarre dynamics between the villagers and their unassuming and perhaps self-appointed matriarch. The name of this episode is based on the 42nd Psalm, also known as “Sicut Cervus” (“As a deer”). The parishioners never really stood a chance against this killer grandmother. Madison continues to assert herself and her domain over her family. Nick continues to be a post-apocalyptic golden boy, whereas Chris takes a turn for the worst — as the world’s worst psychopath that is. Seems that conditions are not much improved in Mexico. This episode demonstrates in more ways than one — whether you’re talking about Strand, Travis, Celia or the weaponized priest — that love makes you do crazy things. Faster than you can say “acorn cookie” — it’s time for another installment of Zombie Jamboree! — a podcast devoted entirely to the AMC show, The Walking Dead. Fresher than an unplanned ambush in the middle of the night, “Not Tomorrow Yet” sure kept us in suspense. Not even Abraham’s philosophizing on why things are the way they are could make us hate this episode. Listen in for our recap and analysis right here!
