The Walking Dead S7 E2 “The Well” by AMC

Hold that tiger! All hail the triumphant arrival of King Ezekiel. Episode 2 of season 7 of The Walking Dead — an AMC show that might go on forever — was a much more lighthearted story this week. The only thing missing was Carol’s cookies — though we did get a nice blast of Carol, Morgan and we met other members of the Kingdom of Ezekiel. So far, pomegranates and daily cobbler with every meal sounds like a good deal to us. Please subscribe, rate and review us on #iTunes, #Soundcloud, #Stitcher and more. #thewalkingdead

Fear The Walking Dead S2 E11 “Pablo and Jessica” by AMC

Faster than you can say “condensed milk” — it’s time for our recap of  episode 11 of season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead (“Pablo and Jessica”).  Maybe we need to rethink this hotel after this episode — why is their gift shop perpetually closed? Nick proved he is the ultimate survivor, here’s hoping Luciana doesn’t get duped by his wily narcissistic ways. Like last week, we were also introduced to some new — and living (for now) — characters. Better than a noisy soccer game in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, at least this podcast doesn’t bit. Listen here. Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd

Fear The Walking Dead S2 E10 “Do Not Disturb” by AMC

Fear The Walking Dead S2 E9 “Los Muertos” by AMC

Welcome to the hotel from….rhymes with “bell”! Between Madison and Strand getting their groove on to Nick discovering the Colonia town of death — episode 9 of season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead (“Lost Muertos”) made for some tenuous and exciting contrasts.  At least we got plenty of Strand, that “seducer of people.” Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd

Fear The Walking Dead S2 E8 “Grotesque” by AMC

Urine luck! The mid-season premiere of Fear the Walking Dead — Grotesque — gave us a splash of what’s to come for the rest of the season.  Nick’s survival skills were anything but savvy but he made it for at least another episode.  There is some good news in terms of Nick’s unfortunate “choice” of beverage: at least he didn’t have asparagus for lunch. Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd

Fear The Walking Dead S2 E6 “Sicut Cervus” by AMC

You can run but can you hide from Celia’s dangerous cooking? Fear the Walking Dead was really incredible this week.  “Sicut Cervus”  (S2 E6) was dramatic, lush and entrenched in some bizarre dynamics between the villagers and their unassuming and perhaps self-appointed matriarch.  The name of this episode is based on the 42nd Psalm, also known as “Sicut Cervus” (“As a deer”). The parishioners never really stood a chance against this killer grandmother. Madison continues to assert herself and her domain over her family. Nick continues to be a post-apocalyptic golden boy, whereas Chris takes a turn for the worst — as the world’s worst psychopath that is. Seems that conditions are not much improved in Mexico. This episode demonstrates in more ways than one — whether you’re talking about Strand, Travis, Celia or the weaponized priest — that love makes you do crazy things. Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd

The Walking Dead S6 E16 “Last Day on Earth” by AMC

We’re batting a thousand with our new podcast recap and discussion of that AMC show everyone (especially us) loves to whine about, namely The Walking Dead. The season six finale sure left us with more perplexing questions than answers. For instance, will Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) ever have to choose between Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Eugene (Josh McDermitt)?  Will  Carol (Melissa McBride) ever return to the group?  Both Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) and Morgan (Lennie James) underwent dramatic transformations this season, including during this 90-minute saga. One thing we know for sure after encountering Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan): Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) seems both shaken and stirred in this grand slam of an episode.
