Fear The Walking Dead S2 E11 “Pablo and Jessica” by AMC

Faster than you can say “condensed milk” — it’s time for our recap of  episode 11 of season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead (“Pablo and Jessica”).  Maybe we need to rethink this hotel after this episode — why is their gift shop perpetually closed? Nick proved he is the ultimate survivor, here’s hoping Luciana doesn’t get duped by his wily narcissistic ways. Like last week, we were also introduced to some new — and living (for now) — characters. Better than a noisy soccer game in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, at least this podcast doesn’t bit. Listen here. Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd

Fear The Walking Dead S2 E9 “Los Muertos” by AMC

Welcome to the hotel from….rhymes with “bell”! Between Madison and Strand getting their groove on to Nick discovering the Colonia town of death — episode 9 of season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead (“Lost Muertos”) made for some tenuous and exciting contrasts.  At least we got plenty of Strand, that “seducer of people.” Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd

Fear The Walking Dead S2 E8 “Grotesque” by AMC

Urine luck! The mid-season premiere of Fear the Walking Dead — Grotesque — gave us a splash of what’s to come for the rest of the season.  Nick’s survival skills were anything but savvy but he made it for at least another episode.  There is some good news in terms of Nick’s unfortunate “choice” of beverage: at least he didn’t have asparagus for lunch. Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd

Fear The Walking Dead S2 E7 “Shiva” by AMC

The mid-season finale of Fear the Walking Dead — Shiva — was really a missed opportunity this week.  Seems that everyone has had too much of that poisoned pozole to act with any semblance of sound logic. No one came out of this episode looking good, with the exception of the shirtless Strand. Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd

Fear The Walking Dead S2 E6 “Sicut Cervus” by AMC

You can run but can you hide from Celia’s dangerous cooking? Fear the Walking Dead was really incredible this week.  “Sicut Cervus”  (S2 E6) was dramatic, lush and entrenched in some bizarre dynamics between the villagers and their unassuming and perhaps self-appointed matriarch.  The name of this episode is based on the 42nd Psalm, also known as “Sicut Cervus” (“As a deer”). The parishioners never really stood a chance against this killer grandmother. Madison continues to assert herself and her domain over her family. Nick continues to be a post-apocalyptic golden boy, whereas Chris takes a turn for the worst — as the world’s worst psychopath that is. Seems that conditions are not much improved in Mexico. This episode demonstrates in more ways than one — whether you’re talking about Strand, Travis, Celia or the weaponized priest — that love makes you do crazy things. Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd

Fear The Walking Dead S2 E5 “Captive” by AMC

Whether you like your  Fear the Walking Dead medium-rare or well-done like an Omaha steak on a kerosine grill, “Captive” (S2 E5) was packed full of nutrients — and by “nutrients” we mean really gnarly walker gore. A lot of this episode focused on Alicia and her dim-witted paramour, the not-so-spry Jack.  Strand is busy recuperating from his time out at sea, giving Daniel and Madison full reign of The Abigail. Travis learned that life can be a beach. Alex reappears in a surprising way and she has a lot to say. Nick keeps on keeping on — and Chris, well, everybody still hates Chris. This episode taught us all that hell hath no fury like a hooded walker hostage with an attitude. Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd

Fear The Walking Dead S2 E3 “Ouroboros” by AMC

Zombie crabcakes and tartar sauce! Are you ready for our podcast recap of “Ouroboros” — episode three of season two of Fear the Walking Dead brought to you by AMC?  In this episode, we are contending with a temperamental Abigail while some of the more listless members of the group go ashore to forage for supplies that might be found due to the Flight 462 crash. Strand is dealing with an increasingly mutinous crew. Nick learns some cool survival tricks that might be familiar to fans of The Walking Dead.  Travis turns out to be quite the handyman. Listen to this podcast recap of what turned out to be an episode that truly brings to mind the phrase, “life’s a beach and then you die.” Please rate, review and subscribe to this podcast. #feartwd
